My co-worker didn't mean to offend me but she did. I've pretty much been taking care of myself since I was 12 years old. I mean, mom and dad raised me as parents should but for the most part I did it on my own. I did it all by myself. I've worked hard to get everything I have and I do a very good job at cooking! lol How does someone look like they can or can't cook??? smh Crazy.

CHRIS TALKS!

I'm glad that Chris Brown finally got a chance to voice his worldwide apology but I'm sick of hearing about it. Although its the truth, it's a little selfish to say. Also, no more jokes because if the tables were turned and it was one of my family members or close friends, I damn sure wouldn't be so nonchalant about it. Real talk.

I think Chris is sincerely sorry that he smacked her ass around... and that he got caught. But, at the end of the day, the decision to forgive is up to Rihanna, not me. He didn't hurt me when he dogged her.... but I was a little disappointed. I've always thought she was crazy, I just didn't think he would let her drive his fists to her face... more than once. smh

STAY CLOSE: HIS ADDICTION

I processed a book at work by Libby Cataldi last week entitled, "Stay Close". This book is amazing! I found time to read it without getting caught. Stay Close is the intense account of what a child's drug addiction feels like from a parent's point of view- what the family did right and wrong. Libby, the mother and author, discusses how often her family thought they were supporting their son, Jeff, but were instead supporting his habit. It took Libby and Jeff over two years to make sense and truth of his addiction.

If I read correctly, starting in the 5th grade, Jeff was exposed to cigarettes, marijuana, microdots, MDE, ecstasy, ketamine, herione, paraphernalia, PCP, mescaline, crystal meth, coke, and LSD! Sheeesh!
